Taste. When we travel, it’s not just personal encounters and visual impressions that stay with us. It’s memories of meals experienced, deeply lodged in all senses, that are sealed in every place in the world, unique tastes that make things tangible.
We’ve visited over 30 cities to experience them as knowingly as possible. Our travel guides are as much restaurant blessings as explorations. We’ve dined in family restaurants, starred establishments, and indulged chefs that go rogue to craft dishes as if they’re Lamborghinis. It’s fitting for each city’s flavor to fit your inspiration, and a Michelin-starred dish made by your friends is tangible.
The result is a wild ride through legendary kitchens. A Brooklyn neighborhood institution shares minimalist warmth. A fine dining table pursues the dish of the night. We promise to have asked our friends and idols from around the world to support us with their tastiest. However, we advise that ideas in this book are limits as the recipe ends.
