Food Pharmacy’s Golden Soup

Soup

  • 2 tbsp cold pressed canola oil 1⁄2 yellow onions
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 head of cauliflower head
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 1⁄2 cup of raw cashews (soaked for 2–4 hours) 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 5 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp herb blend (see below)
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Herb Mix

  • 4 tbsp dried thyme
  • 4 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp dried sage
  • 2 tsp of dried rosemary 1 tsp sea salt

Topping

  • 1 can (230g) of cooked chickpeas 1⁄2 tsp cold pressed canola oil
  • 1⁄2 tsp herb mix
  • Cauliflower leaves or 1 cup kale
