5 Minute Desk Workout with Becycle
1. Breathing
Rapid breath to wake the body up.
2. Relaxing breath
Breathing in through the nose, out through the mouth. Moving arms as well to flow with the breath. Then shaking the wrists to release tension.
3. Wrist stretch & Back opener
Stretching the wrists and then rolling to release. Followed by a crow pose to open and release tension in the upper back.
4. Chest Opener, Lower/Upper back release & Neck stretch.
Flowing with your breath to open the chest and release into the exhale for a backstretch to release tension and hunching at your desk. Followed by gentle neck stretch and head rolls.
5. Standing full body roll down
Large breath in raising arms to hinge forward with long arms to forward fold. Grabbing elbows and rock side to side to lengthen spine and release. Roll up each vertebrae with chin to chest. Repeat a second time, opposite elbows in fold, and rock forward and back. Rollback up to standing.
